Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding EAD. My wife is a LPR and she filled my I-485(along with I-756) this August while I-130 was pending. I am in F-1 status and attending college as a full time student. So if I get my EAD approved,do I still have to continue maintaining my F-1 status until I get a decision on I-485? Or can I work and not worry about the non-immigrant status?
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

it would be better to stay in status. There would be no place to fall back to if the petetion is denied.

You can starting working on EAD once you get it.
