Hi Sojan, Have you or your petitioner heard from the NVC yet? I presume your consulate is Chennai or Hyderabad. I petitioned for my son, his PD is 20 July 2008 and the case is with the Mumbai consulate. I am in the US and have not heard form the NVC. I think my son's will be current Feb'15 or March'15.

Oh is that so? So you haven't submitted your DS-260 yet? And has your petitioner not received the fee bill (Affidavit of Support)? I thought the NVC and consulate did all that about 4-6 months before the PD became current. Thanks for the info. I will check that out as well.

Hello, Your PD will be current in the next couple of months. Have you heard from the NVC for fee bills and other documents? If you already have please let me know when the NVC got in touch with you. My son has PD of July 20, 2008 and I was curious to know how many months in advance the NVC sends out documents. Thanks, Chubb
